Non-breaking HTML characters
We work with heavily regulated content for some of our clients. Often, we find ourselves in a situation where phone numbers, references, hyphenated words must span one line. The old good non-breaking html entities come to rescue:
- —use this code instead of regular space if you never want a browser to brake and move content to the next line at this particular space.
- ‑—use this code instead of regular hyphen if you never want a browser break your hyphenated word and move part of it to the next line.
